In addition, the use of humidification cups can also play some auxiliary roles.
1. Confirm whether the machine is producing oxygen. If there are bubbles, it will produce oxygen normally. If there are no bubbles, it will not produce oxygen.
2. Confirm the amount of oxygen produced. The more bubbles and the faster the speed, the greater the amount of oxygen produced.
3. It can indirectly filter dust in oxygen, and water will cause dust to settle.

When using an oxygen concentrator to inhale oxygen, is it necessary to use a humidification cup? The answer is not necessarily.


When the oxygen inhalation time is long and the oxygen inhalation flow rate is high, it is recommended to use a humidification cup, which can reduce the irritation of oxygen to the nasal mucosa. If you only need low-flow oxygen for a short period of time, you can do it without using a humidification cup. In addition, when the humidity of the adapted environment itself is very high, the humidification cup does not need to be used.

In addition, under certain special circumstances, using a humidification cup may reduce the comfort of oxygen inhalation.

For example, in winter, the temperature is lower, especially in the north. After the oxygen is humidified, the cold feeling will be strengthened and the nasal cavity will be more irritated. Also, when the air humidity is relatively high, inhaling oxygen at a large flow for a long time after oxygen humidification can easily lead to nasal congestion and runny nose problems. Of course, this problem can be solved by adding a blue tube (water collector) in the middle of the oxygen tube to prevent too much moist oxygen from entering the nasal cavity.
